Fill in the blank studios is the collaborative creation of Paul Watton and Geoff Heith. They are two creatively thinking, sleep deprived, relatively good looking, coffee drinking, camera wielding humans. Fill in the Blank was birthed when the two of them decided 2 heads where better than one and they combined their companies (Formerly Perfect Pair Media and Weddings in Motion) to bring more thought, creativity, and breathe new life into the Vancouver wedding and advertising scene. They’re here to tell YOUR story through film and photo to convey who YOU are!
Fill in the Blank Studios name is derived from the idea that whenever we approach any project we start with a blank page. Everyone has a story to tell and we want to help you tell it and the best way to do that is to sit, talk, write, draw, create, converse and fill in the blanks!
Little bit about me : I like to take any chance to be creative from photo, video, to arranging my dinner into a mountain where I think aliens will have a close encounter with mankind…….
My shooting style : Off beat and different. I have a bent towards darker images in photo, and more candid in video…go figure?
Favorite Coffee Drink : Americano with room, cream, and the powdered vanilla in it….cause it’s free compared to the barista pump kind (yes I’m that cheap!)
Favorite ethnic food : ANYTHING ETHNIC…mmmmmm so tasty…except for British food…no one likes that, even Brits prefer Indian!
Favorite movie : Silence of the Lambs and Fight Club … can watch those two over and over … oh and Dumb and Dumber “Big Gulps eh??”
Embarrassing moment : 100% never get embarrassed …. true story!
Little bit about me : The guy behind the scenes who likes to make everyone else look good. Just give me the occasional “great job your awesome to charge my batteries” and I will make you look like a star.
My shooting style : Always looking for new creative ways to tell your story in ways that fit your personality.
Favorite Coffee Drink : Grande Dark with a good dose of half and half.
Favorite ethnic food : Uh…..Indian, isn’t that everyone’s? Unless your Indian, then I guess than your probably sick of it. Just like I am sick of white man food.
Favorite movie : Not going to lie. It’s gotta be the Matrix Trilogy and Starship Troopers (The original) “The only good bug is a dead bug!”
Embarrassing moment : Um…Ya don’t really get embarrassed so can’t say I have one. Sorry.
Little bit about me : I once fought Superman…the loser had to start wearing his underwear outside his pants!
My shooting style : I don’t shoot…I roundhouse kick you in the face!
Favorite Coffee Drink : My favorie coffee is the one I grind with my own teeth and boil with my rage!
Favorite ethnic food : I don’t own a stove, oven, or microwave, because revenge is a dish best served cold.
Favorite movie : I don’t watch movies…I MAKE THEM!
Embarrassing moment : I once made a Happy Meal cry…not really embarrassing, just a fact!
